Shaft diameter: ø3mm
Calibration certificate details:
This Rockwell Cone Indenter exceeds the requirements of DIN EN ISO 6508-2 and ASTM E18 Class B and are calibrated to applicable standards by an ISO 17025 RvA accredited laboratory, with calibers traceable to PTB (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt National Metrology Institute, Braunschweig, Germany.)
The RvA (Board of Accreditation) like UKAS, COFRAC, DaKKS are signatories of ILAC MRA.
Applicable scales:
Calibration scales: A, C, D, N
Laboratory conditions:
Calibration temp.: (23 ± 2) °C
Relative humidity: < 70 %rh
Lifetime conditions:
ISO 6508-2 recommends that the Rockwell Cone Indenters should be recalibrated after 2 years of use. The standard uncertainty is determined in accordance with EA 04/2. The reported expanded uncertainty is based on the standard uncertainty of the measurement and is multiplied by a coverage factor k, in such a way that the coverage probability corresponds to approximately 95%. The measurements traceability is executed using standards for which the traceability to national and standards has been demonstrated towards the Netherlands RvA.
Diamond surface appearance: Exceeding the applicable standards.
Tip and edges: Exceeding the applicable standards.
Condition of the surface: Exceeding the applicable standards.
